As part of the move to the Education Funding Agency from April 2012, we are pleased to launch a number of opportunities.

External assurance and Academies funding roles
The YPLA currently supports the delivery of training and education to all 16–19 year olds in England. From 1st April 2012, the Agency will join together with Partnerships for Schools (PfS) to form the Department for Education’s new Education Funding Agency (EFA).
The EFA will fund the education system for 3–19 year olds and will manage the school and sixth form college estate. It will be responsible for the allocation and distribution of approximately £50 billion revenue and capital funding each year, as well as the delivery of capital investment in schools.
To support the delivery of Agency ambitions we are pleased to be able to offer a number of vacancies in our External Assurance and Academies Funding teams at a range of levels.
We would like to make you and your employees aware of a range of opportunities in our External Assurance and Academies Funding teams to contribute to our immediate priority to continue to support the ongoing growth in Academies.

We are looking for a number of colleagues to join the Department for Education to work initially on a loan basis to the YPLA (until 31st March 2012 and to then be based in the Education Funding Agency from 1st April 2012). These roles will be based in DfE locations.
